나는 현대적인 보석세공 과정을 마친 후 1995년부터 도자기를 이용하여 장신구를 만들기 시작하였다. 새로운 장신구 시리즈를 만들 때 마다 나는 소성을 거친 점토를 사용하여 몸에 걸칠 수 있는 엑세서리를 만드는 새로운 방법을 찾고자 노력했다. 특히 스립캐스팅 기법을 활용하여 목걸이를 만드는 데 필요한 속이 빈 유니트들을 복제할 수 있었다.

Trained in contemporary jewellery, I started applying ceramics in my work in 1995. With each series, I try to find new ways of making fired clay wearable as body ornaments. In particular, the production method of slip casting enables me to replicate the many hollow elements needed for my neckpieces.
